Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system is world renowned. Now comes word that three Arab nations, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Morocco are all interested in acquiring the technology. Globes revealed that the acquisition of Iron Dome, the Green Pine radar system and the Arrow system for missile defense was discussed at the historic Negev Summit.
The Negev Summit was held in Israel on Sunday and Monday. Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid hosted the US Secretary of State and the foreign ministers of 4 Arab nations – the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Morocco – at the summit which took place in Sde Boker in the Negev desert. Sde Boker was famously the home of Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion after he left office and the Arab foreign ministers visited his grave.
On Monday Jewish Business News reported that Germany is considering buying Israeli missile defense technology like the Iron Dome, specifically IAI’s Arrow 3 anti-missile system. This was revealed by members of a German political delegation in Israel that included people involved in defense.

And Ukraine has also been asking Israel to provide that country with Iron Dome systems to help it defend against the ongoing Russian invasion.
Developed by Israeli defense companies Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries, the Iron Dome system is best known for having defended Israel from indiscriminate missile and rocket attacks launched against it by terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. The system famously shot down most of the rockets and missiles that Hamas launched at civilian targets in Israel during the 2021 conflict known as Guardians of the Wall.
The Iron Dome is combat-proven, with over 2,000 interceptions. The multi-mission system effectively counters rockets, mortars and artillery shells, as well as aircraft, helicopters and UAVs at very short range. It is a multi-purpose combat proven system that detects, assesses and intercepts incoming artillery such as: C-RAM, Cruise Missiles, Precise Guided Missiles (PGM), UAVs, Air Breathing Threats (ABTs) and dense salvos.
