And then yesterday, Monday, Wiz, an Israeli cloud security startup that was already a unicorn, announced that it raised $250 million, increasing the company’s valuation to $6 billion.

Hibob was founded to modernize HR tech. Hibob says that its intuitive and data-driven platform, bob, was built for the way people work today: globally, remotely, and collaboratively. Since its launch in late 2015, bob has achieved consecutive triple-digit year-over-year growth, and become the HRIS of choice for more than 1,000 modern, midsize and multinational companies who understand that a powerful, agile HR tech suite is mission critical and a key driver of organizational success. Fast-growing companies across the globe such as Monzo, Happy Socks, Gong, Fiverr, and VaynerMedia rely upon bob to help HR and managers connect, engage, develop and retain top talent.

Last December the company completed a $70 million in Series B funding. At the time, Ronni Zehavi, CEO and Co-founder of Hibob exclaimed, “As we were developing the concept behind our HR platform, we looked at the world of work and recognized that it was changing. I’ve spent my career managing people in different kinds of organizations and came to the realization that the vast majority of HR tech tools I used were not designed for the way people work today – globally, remotely, and collaboratively.”

Just a few months ago Hibob expanded by acquiring s Cassiopeia, a startup that developed AI-based workplace relationship analytics technology to help teams improve communication, collaboration, and work-life balance through advanced communication pattern analysis. Hibob said that this acquisition allows it to offer more robust analytics for companies operating in hybrid and remote work models by identifying distributed teams’ interactions and providing actionable insights to help increase the ability to work effectively together. As Hibob continues expanding its U.S. presence, the acquisition and integration of Cassiopeia’s technology into the bob platform is part of Hibob’s initiative to provide more innovative tools and solutions for companies to support various work modules, and ensure a supportive employee experience for the modern workplace.
