The Love Me Like You Do hitmaker made the initial announcement via her Twitter account: ‘Am sorry that I had to cancel this weekends festivals. Because of ill-health I’ve been advised to not travel or perform. Il bounce back (sic)’

But now it has been revealed that Ellie Goulding is reportedly also suffering from insomnia and severe exhaustion.
A music industry source told The Sun: “Ellie’s body clock is completely out of sync and she has found herself lying awake in bed most nights unable to get to sleep.”
“All the travelling through random time zones has messed with her system. She just can’t get to sleep at night, and even when she’s back in England the insomnia is sapping her energy.
“She’s worried about it as she doesn’t want to be tired before going on stage. She’s a professional and wants to give her fans the best performances possible, ” the source continued.
The Sun added that Ellie had hinted in March at her sleeping problems and tweeted : “Been lying awake since 3am. So much fun.”
Speaking to The London Evening Standard, the 29-year-old musician revealed her busy work schedule has taken its toll on her wellbeing.
The singer is presently still officially scheduled for a show on July 28th, to conclude her Delirium tour.
