Heroic Hollywood reports that WB wants both Bean and Green to star opposite Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in Wonder Woman, playing Greek-inspired rivals opponents. Bean may play the role of Ares, the god of war and veteran Wonder Woman scoundrel, and Green may play Circe, an immortal witch whose goal is to completely wipe out the Amazonians.
More spins have suggested that part of the film will take place on Wonder Woman’s home of Paradise Island, where the Amazonians have split into warring factions — the Circe suggests that either the antagonist will play a part in dividing the Amazonian women, or that the story has changed since the earlier report.

Another recent rumor suggests that the film takes place during World War I.
Gadot is making her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016, before she stars in her standalone film, which will also star Chris Pine as Diana Prince’s love interest Steve Trevor. The film scheduled to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
