KFC has filed a lawsuit against three companies in China which it says used social media accounts to spread rumors about its food, including that its chickens have eight legs.
Kentucky Fried Chicken is China’s biggest restaurant operator, with more than 4, 600 restaurants. It opens, on average, a new branch every day. The case was filed as the Chinese government intensifies a campaign to stop the spreading of false information on the internet and social media.
