Israel’s BioHarvest, which describes itself as a consumer health and wellness company, announced the official launch, beginning with the U.S. market, of its new product, VINIA Red Grape Powder. VINIA, the company boasts, is the first-ever biofood, a new sub-category of superfoods, made from red grapes.
BioHarvest further claims that each serving of VINIA offers many of the benefits of red wine, but without the sugars or calories or alcohol. The company timed the launch for the start of the New Year and the season of resolutions.

It also claims that daily consumption of VINIA boosts overall wellness, as it helps dilate your blood vessels, which in turn, promotes healthy blood circulation, aids healthy arteries and supports blood pressure already within a normal range.
VINIA is a food and not a dietary supplement. It is can be blended into or sprinkled atop everyday foods and beverages. One serving of VINIA harnesses a complex bouquet of polyhpenols (40 mg). VINIA has 5mg of resveratrol similar to what is found in 1, 000 red grapes or one bottle of red wine. The resveratrol in VINIA is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream for fast and efficient results as it is found as a glycoside which improves its solubility and absorption, improving its availability in your body.
BioHarvest explains that this new product differs from others in that it is a direct compound of a red grape, so its polyphenols are in their natural state and it contains more than just resveratrol. VINIA contains no preservatives and no artificial coloring or flavoring.
“Our patented technology harnesses the best of science to mirror the complexity of nature, allowing us to provide a revolutionary new food in powder form. We’re able to deliver many of the benefits of red wine and red grapes, without the sugars, calories or alcohol” says Dr. Yochi Hagay, CEO of BioHarvest.
“Nature has been perfecting itself in nature’s lab for millions of years, ” added Zaki Rakib, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder at BioHarvest. “While we did not discover the benefits of red wine, we did discover a brand new way, using science to accelerate nature’s goodness, to bring those benefits to consumers. And what better time to introduce such a revolutionary new product to the public than the start of a New Year?”
