Lena Dunham, star and executive producer of the wildly popular HBO comedy, Girls, has come a long way from her disastrous attire last year, including a dress that looked like it was made out of toilet paper and her weird dungarees and Chanel combo.
It might be a bit bright and over the top and not quite match her huge tattoo, but Lena Dunham attended the Golden Globes in style wearing a Zac Posen satin gown with a hemline that was low in the back and high in the front. She went very low in front recently when she posed topless with nipple covers on Instagram, but I digress. The dress was roomy but shapely and certainly flattering. Zac Posen is used to gracing the figures that step on red carpets, and has clothed Rihanna, Kate Perry and Lilly Collins, according to the Daily Mail. Bustle’s Marie Southard Ospina said “Some may call it ‘basic’ but I call it elegant, ” and noted a kind of retro flair to Dunham’s look.

Posen has also been busy creating short, sporty wedding dresses for those brides who don’t think they need to look like fairy princesses when they get hitched. One wedding dress has a removable train so the bride can actually busta move at the reception. Posen has Jewish ancestry from Poland, Romania and Russia.
A bit of advice Lena, just let Zac Posen come over and dress you from now on. I’m sure his boyfriend Christopher Niquet won’t mind.
