Gene Simmons’ daughter, Sophie Tweed-Simmons, wants people to know that she does not have a problem with her body type. The 22 year old model and entrepreneur says that she wants to empower young girls who may be what is often described a “plus size”
“I felt like I really had the chance to give girls confidence with affordable clothing, ” she told Yahoo Style in a new profile. “If you have a platform, you should use it.”

Simmons’ new 18 piece collection offered by the Style Club is priced between $25 and $115 in sizes small, medium and large, are all named after strong and influential women. “The cuts of the pieces are all flattering. All the waistbands are elastic, which I prefer. Essentially, the collection is based around my butt, ” explained Simmons.
The daughter of former Penthouse Pet and soft-core porn film star Shannon Tweed also wants people to know that she is not ashamed of her body. While Sophie’s mother’s body fit perfectly into the modern model/movie star physique, the younger Simmons said about herself, “I have never been a skinny girl, I’ve always been athletic and curvy and strong.”
Simmons also explained that she cannot find dresses that fir her from some of her favorite designers because they only cater to smaller sized women.
The young model/businesswoman also hates Photoshop, specifically air brushing. She was furious when she saw what was done to her legs in the first pictures for the clothing line’s new ad campaign. Simmons told Yahoo that her legs looked “too good” and asked if they could be changed back.
About dieting and exercise Simmons told Yahoo, “I like eating cookies and food. I like the treadmill, but I don’t want to kill myself.”
