A group of investors is in talks to bring fast food chain Burger King back to Israel. The investors are also negotiating with Eli and Yuval Orgad to buy their chain of 50 Burger Ranch outlets and rebrand them as Burger King.
Burger King was previously operated in Israel by the Orgad brothers who converted all the branches into Burger Ranch outlets. However, the investors have yet to receive the green light from Burger King to operate their franchise in Israel.
The investors include former Kmat Hinam supermarket chain owner Rani Zim and Yair Hasson, a former Burger King franchisee in Israel.
If the deal goes ahead it is unclear what will be the fate of Burger Ranch.
