Dorit Silberman

Dorit Silberman is a well-known Israeli writer who holds a PhD in Hebrew Literature. Her books have been translated into a variety of languages, including French, German, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The screenplay for the 2003 film Tahara was adapted from her book entitled Neutering. Silberman has won several writing prizes and her work has been included in a number of anthologies, some of which she edited.
