Meanwhile, Dunham has joined director Judd Apatow in condemning Bill Cosby for having raped all of those women. She moderated a discussion at New York’s Film Society of Lincoln Center on Monday night which included Apatow.
The actress said that she was never a fan of Cosby’s before and that, “To me it’s interesting, because Bill Cosby is just a rapist. There’s a way that’s going to be twisted – that I haven’t explored multiple avenues of culture because I’m spoiled and Jewish and I’m from downtown. I watched Family Matters, I just didn’t watch Bill Cosby.”
She told Apatow about the event that, “Bill Cosby is sitting in his house, watching, ” Dunham joked. “You are literally his No1 enemy. He knows by now about you.”
