Survey Says Best Time to Post on Facebook for Maximum Likes

Do you mark about your last Facebook post, on that you worked such a lot and giving good photos and title to create it funny and interesting – didn’t garner any likes? Yes, the fault might not be with the content of your post but little bit of timings, says a study.

So once is that the best time to post on Facebook? On weekdays throughout working hours, then on evening time 7 pm or 8 pm, survey says, Bustle.com reported .

On the weekends there is a major drop-off in reactions. Hence, if you’re very feeling yourself on Friday or Saturday evening, wait to post that photo on till Monday afternoon.

“The chance that an user reacts to a message might depend upon many factors, like his daily and weekly behavior patterns, his location or timezone, and also the volume of different messages competitor for his attention, ” said researchers.

The United States cities of San Francisco and New york exhibit similar shapes, wherever reactions peak at the start of work hours, the study said.

For Paris, the reactions peak within the last half of working hours, whereas for London most reactions are expected towards the top of operating hours.

“This is very important for businesses that are attempting to attach with customers in different areas, or if social media crush lives halfway across the world, ” the researchers from lithium Technologies in San Francisco, said.

Also, if you wish immediate gratification, Twitter may be the thanks to go. The study found that it sees larger peaks in usage, has doubly the prospect of eliciting responses, and reaction times are a lot of quicker compared to Facebook.

On Facebook it takes up to 2 hours for the primary half of the responses to return in; on Twitter, however, most responses come back within half an hour.

The researchers then took their data set, that control timestamps from an enormous range of posts 144 million, to be precise and reactions 1100 million(1.1 billion) over a 120-day period, and it analyzed by Klout.
