When a Twitter user wrote “With Trump not doing The Apprentice USA anymore, @Lord_Sugar would make perfect replacement”, Alan replied saying “I would like the challenge.”
Sugar replied saying “I would like the challenge.”
“As soon as NBC cut all ties with Trump, Lord Sugar and [show creator] Mark Burnett started talking, ” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “They obviously know each other really well from working on the British version and have a great relationship.”
And People.com reports that NBC has “already reached out to Sugar”.
Trump consider to be Suger’s rival after he had a Twitter spat in 2012 with Lord Sugar in which he said: “Without my show you’d be nothing”.
The insider added: “The fact that Sugar has a pretty bad relationship with Trump would make landing his old job all the more sweet.”
