Another one time child star bites the dust. Former “Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond was convicted of two misdemeanor charges in a Wisconsin court over a stabbing he committed in a bar last Christmas. But he did escape a felony conviction.
Diamond and his fiancee got into a tussle with two men and a woman at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington, where Diamond lives, last December.

The 38 year old actor had testified that he was goaded into the fight saying, “I felt like we were being set up for antagonistic purposes.”
Diamond asserted that he only took out a pocket knife to defend his girlfriend and did not even know that he had stabbed someone.
Diamond has not yet been sentenced.
