Nomad Foods, a company established a year ago by consumer goods tycoons Martin Franklin and Noam Gottesman, is about to buy Iglo, which is the owner of Birds Eye, the Financial Times reported.
The deal, to be announced Monday in London, will be paid for in cash. Iglo’s current owner, the private equity group Permira, will hold on to 9 percent of the company.
