Investigators did not find a GPS navigation device in late AMIA special prosecutor Alberto Nisman’s Audi Wednesday, when they searched the building where he was found dead of a gunshot wound in the head January 18, the Buenos Aires Herald reported.
It was not the first time the car was inspected, according to the same report. Investigators searched it on January 19.

Nisman borrowed the car from a businessman friend named Claudio Picón.
Prosecutor Fein will supervise a forensic test on April 23 to determine how Nisman died. An earlier analysis was challenged by Judge Sandra Arroyo Salgado, Nisman’s ex-wife, who criticized the designation of expert Enrique Prueguer, who had already testified that Nisman committed suicide.
This time, Fein will be accompanied by four experts, plus a fifth expert hired by Arroyo Salgado, and by attorney Luis Olavarría, who represents Diego Lagomarsino, the man who lent Nisman the .22 calibre Bersa pistol that killed him.
On April 27, a board of coroners will meet to compare the results of the autopsy carried out by the Supreme Court’s board of coroners on January 19 and the brief filed by the experts hired by Arroyo Salgado, who claims Nisman was murdered.
