It looks like Donald Sterling‘s infamous lady friend, V. Stiviano, may lose more than her counter-suit for defamation, but may also have to hand over the $2.5 million in properties and autos Sterling gave to her if Donald’s wife, Shelly, wins her case.
Judge Richard Fruin threw out V. Stiviano’s counter defamation suit because the allegations were vague and had little support. She was required to pay $50, 000 in fees. Shelly Sterling maybe can’t lose for winning, since she was able to make the sale of the Clippers for a record $2 billion after her husband made his well-publicized racist remarks to Stiviano about not bringing blacks to games. The outburst cost Sterling his team and he was cut off from any further ties to the NBA.

Shelly wants V. Stiviano to pay her back for all the expensive stuff Sterling gave her, and claims they were not Donald’s property alone but was shared between the couple who have been married for 58 years. Stiviano, who is described on her Instagram bio as “an artist, lover, writer, chef, poet, stylist, philanthropist” said her relationship with Sterling was not sexual. Her attorney says Stiviano is not to blame for the fact Sterling lavished her with expensive gifts, such as a Spanish duplex in Beverly Hills, a Ferrari and two Bentleys According to ABC, the attorney said, “The feminine wiles of Ms. Stiviano overpowered the iron will of Donald T. Sterling who is well known was one of the most shrewd businessmen of the world.” Sounds like a blurb for a romantic movie listed in the TV guide.
