In the 2013 election, only 11.4 percent of the voters had made it to the polls by 10 AM.
That number rose quickly to 26 percent by 11 AM.
The vote began at 7 AM sharp, and voting stations will close at 10 PM precisely.
Official election results will be announced on Thursday, according to the commission.
