Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon and Hollywood talent agent Michael Ovitz are engaged and plan to live in New York City, the Daily Mail reported.
Then Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon founded Jimmy Choo, the British high fashion house, back in 1996, with couture shoe cobbler Jimmy Choo. She told Hello! Magazine last December that Jimmy Choo never designed a single shoe bearing his name—she did all of it.

Michael Ovitz co-founded Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in 1975 and was its chairman until 1995. He was president of the Walt Disney Company from late 1995 to early 1997. After a horrible year as CEO Michael Eisner’s second in command, Ovitz was dismissed and left Disney with a severance package of $38 million in cash and about $100 million in stock.

It’s an August-November kind of relationship: Mellon, now 47, has been dating Ovitz, 68, for four years.
Her father, Tom Yeardye, was a stunt double for Rock Hudson.
Ovitz was born to a Jewish family in Chicago, his father was a liquor wholesaler.
Mellon also told Hello! Magazine: “In December, he surprised me with a beautiful ring. It wasn’t entirely out of the blue because he kept saying, ‘I’ve got something really important for you.'”
“He first asked me to move in with him over a year ago, ” Mellon added, “then I suppose he wanted to show his commitment.”
Mellon has a daughter named Araminta, from ex-husband Matthew Mellon. Ovitz has three grown children from ex-wife Judy Reich, one of whom is fashion designer Kimberly Ovitz.
