Radwin states that the JET system cancels radio interference and enables operation in the most heavily congested unlicensed bands and in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions, making it the ideal solution for broadband wireless applications.
Sharon Sher, RADWIN’s President and CEO said, “RADWIN 5000 JET is a groundbreaking solution engineered for operation in the toughest environments for wireless. We have unparalleled experience borne of hundreds of thousands of deployments globally, and JET is the pinnacle of our expertise in the field. JET is the next generation of the widely deployed RADWIN 5000 PtMP series and backward compatible with the RADWIN 5000 install base, enabling RADWIN’s existing customer base to easily upgrade their network and benefit from JET’s unique advantages.”
Concluded Sharon, “JET’s Smart Beamforming antenna and innovative air-interface are optimized for dense, large-scale network deployments. JET empowers Service Providers to deliver broadband access service with assured SLA over the unlicensed 5.x GHz bands in dense urban areas. It also addresses service providers’ requirements for exceedingly high network throughput, while drastically reducing the amount of spectrum needed for these deployments. For legacy WiMAX operators, JET enables maximizing the utilization of the scarce 3.x GHz licensed spectrum.”
