Ed Snider’s Philadelphia Flyers are still in the chase for a playoff spot in the NHL and he is proud of them.
The team is currently in tenth place overall in the Eastern Conference and only 3 points behind the eighth place Boston Bruins who currently hold its final playoff spot. The Flyers have a winning record at the season’s ¾ mark after a recent winning streak that brought them back into playoff contention.

Snyder told Deleware Online of how his Flyers rebounded this year, “In my mind, I was almost writing them off, too. But seriously, these guys never, ever stop believing in themselves. They won’t quit. I mean we were written off, but these guys won’t quit. They won’t give up. At least we have something to really root for.”
“How many weeks ago were we written off by all the press and just about everybody else? Just the fact that we’re in the hunt is exciting, ” Snider said. “I don’t know where it’s gonna end up, but if we end up making the playoffs, it’s gonna be quite a story.”
