The sisters were arrested after officials had caught them taking pictures of each other nude behinds inside the temple, which happens to be a World Heritage site.
A local court sentenced them to a suspended six-month prison sentence, and fined them the equivalent sum of $315. They were scheduled for deportation Sunday and may not return to Cambodia until 2019.

“The two tourists admitted that they really made a mistake by taking nude photos, ” the local government agency which runs the site said in a statement.
“Their inappropriate activities affect the sanctity of the place, ” a spokeswoman for the site told the press.
AFP reported that a week ago three French tourists—men this time—were also deported for taking nude photos of one another at another temple nearby.
And on the same week, local authorities threatened legal action against a photographer of topless women in Angkor, according to The Cambodia Daily.
