The Israeli company Healarium was selected to become part of the StartUp Health accelerator. The StartUp Health accelerator likes to refer to itself as a “global entrepreneurship development company for healthcare transformers, ” and was launched three and half years ago in an initiative supported by President Barack Obama.
Healarium boasts that it delivers flexible, open platform for online member/patient interventions. The company says that its patient care technology has a unique capacity for content configuration which sets it apart. It allows customers to assemble their own guidelines, educational materials, and processes into a white label product that is branded and scalable.

The components of its platform are the Personal Health Assistant (PHA), accessible via mobile or Web which allows individual users to view health data, follow condition-specific care plans, receive daily tasks, report progress, earn incentives, access educational materials, take health quizzes, and participate in challenges and online communities.
The Care management dashboard which lets coaches/care managers quickly focus on high need members/patients through automated messaging, alerts, and management-by-exception processes.
And the behavioral analytics layer which continuously adjusts and improves engagement and adherence strategies.
Healarium has been selected to join the accelerator’s next 12-week program as a platform that provides digital care plans to help patients following their daily regimens. Based in Israel and the United States, Healarium was founded by Arturo Weschler, Amir Weinstein and Amnon Keynan.
