The couple only just announced their engagement 11 days ago and only revealed their relationship last November.

When revealing the engagement Fry tweeted, “Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag. I’m very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!”
Fllow British Thespian and star of the hit show “House” Hugh Laurie, who has been a friend of Fry’s for more than 30 years and co-starred with him on several British comedy shows tweeted, “Bloody hell it’s happened! @ElliottGSpencer has made an honest man of m’col. Love and happiness to all!!”
Sky News reported that the couple gave formal notice to wed at a register office in Dereham, Norfolk, near where Fry grew up and that he listed his occupation as actor and Spencer was described as a writer.
