Greek police have arrested at least four suspects over alleged links to a suspected terror plot in Belgium, BBC reported. One of the men may have been in contact with the cell in Verviers, Belgium, where police killed two suspects in a shootout on Thursday. Belgian authorities suspected the two of preparing a substantial terrorist attack.
The Thursday evening raids in Belgium yielded guns, ammunition, explosives, police uniforms and a large amount of money. Prosecutors suspect the group had planned to kill police officers. They charged five people on Friday with “participating in the activities of a terrorist group.”
