Jeffrey Lurie, owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, now places all of his hopes on coach Chip Kelly after the firing of vice president of team personnel, Tom Gamble, according to Philly.com. It seems Gamble dropped the ball and was responsible for the poor performance of the team. Now Lurie has to depend entirely on Chip Kelly, but Lurie expressed confidence in the coach.
However, some fans think that Kelley has a lot to prove after a failing at Cleveland before going over to the Patriots, where he was entirely in control of personnel. When Lurie brought in Kelly two years ago, he said he was not just a coach but a “program builder.”

The Eagles missed the playoffs 10-6, and that is what might have prompted Gamble’s departure, and perhaps Kelly implied that Gamble was an interference. Still some fans aren’t sure whether to trust Kelly, who seemingly allowed Gamble to fumble personnel management under Kelly’s watch.
Jeffrey Lurie was born to a Jewish family, and his grandfather founded the General Cinema movie theater. The company made many profitable acquisitions, including the Pepsi bottling company.
