Kansas Prosecution Seeking Death Penalty for Jewish Center Murderer

Frazier Glenn Miller

Johnson County, Kansas, District Attorney Steve Howe on Thursday announced he is going to seek the death penalty against 74-year-old white supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller of Aurora, Missouri, charged with killing three people—all of them non-Jews—at two Jewish sites in suburban Kansas City on April 13, AP reported.

The victims are 69-year-old Dr. William Lewis Corporon, his grandson, 14-year-old Reat Griffin Underwood, and 53-year-old Terri LaManno.

According to AP, Miller shouted: “What about my speedy trial?” after the judge on Thursday scheduled a preliminary hearing on his case in March.

According to KMBC-TV, when Miller was wheeled out of the courtroom, he announced he shot his victims “because Jews are committing genocide against white people. I have a duty to do what I did.” He then added: “I don’t fear the death penalty, I’m going to die anyway.”

Last month, a judge ordered a mental evaluation for Miller, based on his attorney’s request.
