SafeCharge CEO David Avgi announced that the company’s relationship with Mastercard Europe is going to take on a new dimension. Now SafeCharge, which provides payment service solutions for businesses, has approval to issue prepaid Mastercards.
Ali Farid Khwaja, a former Financial Technical analyst and Berenberg, will be head of its new Issuance division. Avgi said the ability to issue pre-paid and co-branded cards will mean “a significant step in building a new pillar to our business.”
