Israeli digital insight and website traffic analysis company SimilarWeb announced that it has raised $15 million dollars from Naspers and Lord David Alliance in a Series D round of investment. The new funds will be used to expand the company’s services.
SimilarWeb states that it providing mobile insights is a crucial aspect of its strategy, with apps at the center of this mobile universe. This investment will enable it to make headway in the mobile sphere and give marketing professionals the insights to navigate our digital world.

In September, SimilarWeb launched the first part of its mobile analysis features which focus on acquisition and app store optimization insights. These features help marketers boost visibility and attract new users. But the company says that, “we still weren’t seeing the whole picture – we still lacked the ability to understand what was happening inside the apps themselves.
