Marilyn Manson has denied any involvement in the video that director Eli Roth made of Lana Del Rey getting raped.
The denial came after Roth, who came to fame after directing the horror film Hostel, told Larry King that he had filmed it with Manson. “The footage is so sick, it’s been locked in a vault for over a year, ” he said.

Sexual assault of any kind and on any level is nothing to take lightly. When it is depicted in movies rape always sparks controversy, unless it’s done in an attempt to raise awareness about violence against women.
This was the case in The Accused with Jodie Foster.
The footage which Roth refers to was leaked on line the other day and because of its graphic content has since been removed by most reputable websites.
It is of a simulated rape scene in which Del Rey is in terror as a man pushes her face first into a bed as she scratches him in self-defense. It ends showing her in tears.
Kathryn Frazier, Manson’s rep, said in a statement, “Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music. It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else’s Lana Del Rey footage.”
When asked if simulating rape adds to a movies horror value by Larry King Roth answered, “No, that’s a crazy question. There’s literally no way to answer that. The sexual abuse of women is so horrific. I mean, Straw Dogs is a movie where there’s rape. Does that add to that movie? Yes. But how are you supposed to answer a question like that? It’s crazy.”
