Nano artist Jonty Hurwitz saw his tiny sculptures lost forever in an act of clumsiness, according to the Daily Mail. The artist spent ten months creating figures small enough to balance on the head of an ant, some as narrow as a human hair. Using 3D technology, he was able to create these tiny masterpieces, which could only be seen with the kind of microscope used to look at cancer cells.
His great work was “Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss” inspired by the classical myth, with nudes reminiscent of classical sculpture.

When Hurwitz was finally able to see what he created, he said, according to the Daily Mail, “Everything just stops. Everyone goes silent. We stare at this. It is a feat of humanity, for minutes. ”
His colleague was so excited, he moved the camera at a different angle and destroyed the creations. And now the nano sculptures have been lost forever.
