However, the rate of Ebola transmission is not increasing at the same rate it did before in Guinea and Liberia.
In Sierra Leone 1, 169 people have died, and, according to the WHO, 421 new cases were reported there in the first week in November.
In Mali, which was considered Ebola-free, at least 3 persons have died from the virus recently, according to the update. One of the cases was a grand imam.
The WHO says it has received only 49% of the $260 million it needed to handle the outbreak.
According to the same report, only 24% of the 4, 611 hospital beds planned for Ebola treatment centers in the three hardest-hit West African nations are operational, and only 4% of the some 2, 636 beds planned for community care centers are available.
Only 38% of the 370 burial teams the WHO needed have been recruited and are undergoing training.
