With the GOP’s victory in the Senate, many wonder if they will make good on their pledge to dismantle Obamacare. Perhaps, but only by making many dents rather than creating a sweeping change, according to the Washington Examiner. With 51% of Americans unhappy with Obamacare, since many of them have had to change doctors and lose the health insurance coverage they once had, there have been calls for reform. However, these reforms are likely to be piecemeal rather than fast and furious. “It’s not a 2.700 page bill we’d wheel out onto the Senate floor, ” a GOP aide told the Washington Examiner.
Some possible reforms might be allowing people to qualify for insurance across state lines, increasing health savings accounts, letting small businesses to lower insurance fees for employees, and involving Medicaid.
