Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan have joined the cast of the upcoming Now You See Me 2, Lionsgate studios announced. They will play characters named Walter and Lula, respectively. Walter is the son of the character played by Michael Caine in the original film.
While the plot has not yet been revealed, the two are expected to play magicians. Radcliffe, obviously, is no stranger to the world of magic. Caplan, on the other hand, is best known for taking her clothes off in just about every episode of Showtime’s Masters of Sex.

The film is a sequel to the modestly successful 2013 film Now You See Me. The first movie stared Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman and Isla Fisher, who famously converted to Judaism when she married British actor Sasha Baron Cohen.
Lizzy Caplan is set to replace Fisher who chose not to reprise her role. Caplan and Radcliffe will be joined by returning original cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Caine.
The first movie was about a team of four magicians – Eisenberg, Fisher, as well as Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco – known as the Four Horsemen who went to work for a nefarious character played by Michael Caine. They somehow pulled off the world’ greatest bank heist while they were all onstage in front of a live audience and then set to work on their next scam.
The group do all of this while being chased by the FBI.
Now You See Me 2 takes place one year after the end of the first movie. Production is set to begin in December and the film is slated to be released in May 2016.
