Real estate developer Leonard Stern has sold his Soho penthouse for $14.7 million. The pocket change should come in handy for a man said to be worth as much as $4.9 billion.
Stern, a philanthropist who endowed the NYU school of business which bears his name, bought the apartment in 2010 for $14.25 million and once asked as much as $17.25 million for it.
