No one on the planet, living or otherwise, is more PC than Larry David’s ex, Laurie. Which is funny, considering she’d been married to Larry David, or, actually, explains everything.
Except this time I agree with “liberal environmentalist and anti-obesity crusader” Laurie David (that’s how NewsBuster called her, and it kinda’ works).

Laurie David criticized the Girl Scouts of America for partnering with Nestle on pushing a new chocolate milk drink flavored with cookies. On Huffington, she attacked the Girl Scouts for joining the “Sugar Bomb Beverage Business.”
“[T]he drink itself has forty-eight grams of sugar in it. Now nobody knows what a gram is and I don’t, but I can tell you that’s twelve teaspoons of sugar. That is more than a child should have in four days. This is their on-the-go drink. But the thing that is really driving me crazy about it is that they stamped the little bottle with the Girl Scout logo, and that’s not right, it’s immoral to do that, ” David declared, and she was right.
OK, I would die before I got up the courage to rebuke a bunch of fat Girl Scouts, but otherwise, who would dare suggest Laurie David is wrong?
Laurie David says children suffer from “prematurely raging hormones [which] also impair our children’s impulse control, making them easy prey for marketers.”
Also – children shouldn’t be making the purchasing decisions, their parents should.
“Would we sell cigarettes to our girls?” she’s asking.
No, of course not. And sugary snacks will kill you eventually, sometimes faster than cigarettes.
