According to the Iranians, only two workers died in a fire and at an explosives facility inside Iran’s Parchin nuclear complex.
Iranian News Agency ISNA reported on Monday that the fire erupted in an “explosive materials production unit” on Sunday.

Opposition website Sahamnews reported a large blast that could be heard for many miles near the Parchin military site, southeast of Tehran. It said the explosion was so intense, it shattered windows of buildings as far as 9 miles away.
But, like we said, only two people died. Probably while cleaning their windows. As ISNA put it: “Unfortunately, due to the incident, two workers of this production unit lost their lives.”
Parchin is part of Iran’s nuclear program, where Iran has denied access to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since 2005.
Iran announced three years ago that a massive explosion at a military base 28 miles west of Tehran killed 17 Revolutionary Guards, including a leader of its elite force’s missile program. It insisted it was an accident.
Is it possible the Iranians are more dangerous to themselves than to anyone else?
