Gordon-Levitt has not yet been officially signed, and word is the young star is concerned about Stone’s recent success record, which hasn’t been stellar.

Stone’s film is reported to be more a drama than a political story, depicting the aftermath of Snowden’s leaks rather than the actual events that so shook the ground beneath the U.S. intelligence community.

Gordon-Levitt has just finished shooting The Walk for director Robert Zemeckis, and he is working on Xmas with Seth Rogen. This man can really stretch his roles.
