Stephen Fry and Joss Stone will star in a Martin Scorsese-produced film “Tomorrow” about soldiers trying to reintegrate into society after war. The film will be directed by Martha Pinson, Scorsese’s longtime script adviser. She commented, “Tomorrow explores the difficulty and the loneliness soldiers encounter as they try to reintegrate back into society having served for their country.”
Scorcese said, “I’m honored to join Martha in her directorial debut. Through her vision, the great cast and dedicated team, this story will resonate for years to come.”

The film will deal with the realities of soldiers who have to carry the horrors of war with them through post-traumatic stress disorder. A story line involving Fry’s character will deal with HIV and AIDS.
“Tomorrow explores the difficulty of moving on from losses and injuries, to forge a life, to find sustaining work and experience love, ” said Pinson. The filming will take place in Tedworth House in Wiltshire, which serves as a recovery center for veterans and current members of the armed forces.
The screenplay was written by Sebastian Street and Stuart Brennan.
