“Eric the Midget” and later known was “Eric the Actor”, Eric Lynch, has passed away at the age of 39 of complications related to the rare Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. He was known as a cantankerous “wack packer” and could hold is own against the irreverent Howard Stern. Most recently, Eric was nominated by Zac Efron for the ice bucket challenge, but declined because of his medical condition.
Eric’s diminutive size inspired the nickname Eric the Midget, and later, he was known as Eric the Actor because he discussed television roles he would like to play. After expressing his acting ambitions, he was cast with bit parts in shows such as “Fringe, ” “In Plain Sight, ” and “Legit.”

He often got into heated arguments with Howard Stern, but nonetheless, Stern said Eric was his favorite caller. Others, like Jeremy Kimmel, also agreed with this assessment on Twitter. Kimmel wrote, “Eric the Actor was my all-time favorite Howard Stern caller, and I will miss him terribly.” Jonah Hill wrote, “I just found out that Eric the Actor passed away. He entertained me for years.
