James Wolk, who plays Bob Benson on AMC’s Mad Men, has signed a deal with IMC Partners. Mad Men will enter its 7th and final season, and he was nominated for the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actor. His newest project is starring in the Kyle Patrick Alverez drama, The Stanford Prison Experiment, based on an experiment in the early 70s that had students in role playing games against each other as prisoners and prison guards.
Wolk was born in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to a Jewish family. He was raised in Reform Judaism, and as a teenager worked as an emcee at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
