According to the latest jobs report from the U.S. Labor Department, the economy added only 142, 000 jobs in August. But Jim Cramer says we shouldn’t put too much stock in this weaker-than-expected number.
Cramer says there are a lot of factors that could be behind the low numbers, including concerns about affordable care and layoffs that start happening in some places.

According to Cramer, it’s also possible that the numbers are simply wrong, and will be revised upward eventually. He thinks the August numbers are simply too inconsistent with what he knows about the U.S. economy today.
