Actor David Arquette purchased the classic, if kitschy, Crazy Girls strip club and plans to revamp it into a more old school burlesque venue. Crazy Girls is legendary in Hollywood, if infamous, and is the locale where the hard rock group Motley Crue filmed its video “Girls, Girls, Girls” in the 80s. The 31 year old establishment is a bit of a joke among the younger crowd, and Arquette has shelled out less than the initial asking price of $1.7 million for the den of iniquity.
Crazy Girls dancers were merely topless because alcohol is served at the iconic strip club. California exotic dancers may only perform completely in the buff if no alcohol is served.

Arquette, who has stakes in other steamy establishments Hooray Henry’s and Bootsy Fellows, was formerly married to Friends star Courtney Cox, but is currently engaged to Christina McLarty. Concerning his fiancee, he said, “She never pressured me to ask her to marry me. I’m incredibly blessed to have her in my life … She’s the coolest and (concerning the marriage) she’s not hard core about it.”
