Chief Wiggum, Carl, Moe, these are just a few of the characters that Azaria has voiced over the last 25 years on the Simpsons. Or maybe you know the 50 year old actor better from his appearances in front of the screen like when he played Phoebe’s nerdy scientist boyfriend David on Friends or from Ben Stiller movies like Mystery Men and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

Located at 84 Mercer Street, the SoHo pad has 4, 000 square feet of space, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has high ceilings and exposed brick walls in what was once a warehouse. It offers direct entry through a key-lock elevator, a small entrance vestibule, a mud hall and a 50 foot long entrance loggia with five window seats.

Its 700 square foot main living space has original, narrow gauge wood floors and more than half a dozen exposed steel columns. There is a windowless media room with exposed brick walls and a built-in entertainment system.

Also known as 513-519 Broadway, 84 Mercer was built in 1884 and has 19 residential units and 7 commercial units. The six story, block-through, Queen-Anne style building was converted into a residential co-operative use in 1978. It is the largest co-op building in SoHo.

Azaria bought it in 2005 for $4.625 million from the artist Cindy Sherman. He has been renting it out for $16, 000 a month since 2011.

Azaria’s new home at 75 Central Park West has three bedrooms and a view of Central Park.
