Jonathan Gray Brings BN Films to New York

Words with Gods

BN Films is expanding its reach to the East Coast, and is opening an office in New York. BN films chief Jonathan Gray will continue to work as a senior partner at his law firm Gray Krauss Stratford Sandler Des Rochers while developing film and television projects for BN Films.

“The heart of the Indie film community is in New York, ” Gray told Variety. “And things are done differently here. I think it’s more straightforward, and its important for BN to have a foothold on both coasts.”

BN Films “Words with Gods” stars Demian Bichir and will premiere at the Venice Film Festival. It is also in post-production of “The Captive” featuring David Oyelowo and Kate Mara. Gray’s law firm has been a production consultant on over 400 films, and BN intends to continue to make films that appeal to domestic and international audiences. BN President Katrina Wolfe will oversee projects at BN’s Los Angeles office.
