Did Hamas try to zero in on an Israeli offshore natural gas facility? A Channel 2 news broadcast said that the Hamas military wing announced today that they had fired a missile at an Israeli drilling rig off the Gaza seacoast.
Hamas said the missile had been fired around noon. This is the first time that Hamas has tried to launch a missile at an Israeli gas facility.
An IDF spokesman responded that no hit by a missile had been detected at an Israeli gas facility, but declined to state whether such an attempt had been made.
