In what would have been quite a surprise to some lucky (or seriously unlucky) Israeli children, had they somehow received part of it, local Costa Rican police discovered pure cocaine in a shipment of toys that was on its way to the city of Ramla in Israel.

Ramla is located next to Israel’s Ben Gurion international airport.

The cocaine packages were professionally wrapped and concealed inside plastic toys.

The shipment has been transferred to the custody of Israel’s police, and investigators for the main unit of the central district found inside each toy a solid container of unadulterated cocaine, weighing close to 5 pounds altogether.

Their next move was to issue a notice to the intended recipient, telling them their package had arrived. He arrived and, while being followed by police, passed the package to a second suspect, at which point the operational force intervened and arrested both of them.

On Tuesday the two suspects, ages 61 and 57, were arraigned and charged.
