Variety has revealed that the billionaire investor, former president of eBay and movie producer Jeff Skoll has acquired an additional Los Angeles property for $6 million.
He can certainly afford to buy as many homes as he wishes, having earned as much as $2 billion from the sale of his eBay stock back in 2005.

The property was not listed so few details of it were made available. What is known is that the house is a somewhat run down faux timbered Tudor in need of renovations on half an acre of land. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms with a total of 3, 038 square feet. There is a swimming pool in the backyard encircled by flagstone terracing, with a tree framed city view.
It neighbors much larger estates belonging to Hollywood titans such as Tom Cruise, Kevin Huvane and Byron Allen. There is no word yet on Skoll’s plans for the property.
Skoll recently spent $11 million on a solar powered Beverly Hills Mansion that once belonged to David Geffen.
In other Jeff Skoll news, the 48 year old Canadian engineer and entrepreneur’s latest movie is not doing so well at the box office nor has it been well received by the critics. The Hundred-Foot Journey stars Helen Mirren as a Parisian restaurateur who clashes with an immigrant family when they open their own restaurant nearby.
The two hour movie which Skoll executive produced has only brought in $23 million in its first two weeks and received only a 66% rating from critics on the movie review site Rotten Tomatoes. On the bright side it only cost $22 million to produce.
Skoll has also produced such Oscar winning films as Syriana, Lincoln and the Al Gore documentary An Inconvenient Truth.
