Tory Burch’s $3 Billion Worth of Personal Touch

Fashion designer, business woman, and philanthropist, Tory Burch (Jewish on her mother’s side) spoke to Fast Company, on the eve of her fall/winter 2014 show in Manhattan.

But she needn’t, really. In 2014, ten years after it was founded, her company, TRB by Tory Burch, will likely post more than $1 billion in revenue.

She’s really one of those giants in the world of fashion-and-lifestyle business. Her empire includes 141 stores in 50 countries, with e-commerce in seven languages.

This summer, she launched a line of activity-monitoring devices for Fitbit, the first major fashion house to get into into wearable technology.

This fall, she’s publishing her first book, a coffee-table thing, “Tory Burch in Color.”

Her line of watches, produced with Fossil, and her first collection of dinnerware will hit stores before Christmas.

Sometime next year, she launches a sportswear collection, and she’s going to start offering merchandize for men.
