Related’s part of the Hudson Yards project is located at 520 West 30th Street, between 10th and 11th avenues. There they are constructing a 354 foot tall 28 story residential tower which will hold 174 apartments.
It will have a brick façade and large windows and was designed by Ismael Leyva.
The firm has yet to break ground on the building.
The design is similar to the neighboring Abington House, at 500 West 30th Street, also owned by Related, which has already been completed.
That building was designed by the architect Robert A.M. Stern and holds 312 rental apartments. It comes with 30, 000 square feet of amenity space, including a lounge, a “sanctuary room, ” an Equinox designed gym, multiple communal entertainment and meeting spaces and several outdoor terraces. There is also a landscaped courtyard.
Rents there are going from $3, 675 a month for a studio, $4, 350 for a one bedroom and $7, 495 for a two bedroom apartment.
Another Related property, an affordable housing building, has also been completed behind it on the same lot facing West 29th Street.
When it is complete, Hudson Yards will be a complex of five skyscrapers and two smaller buildings running between 10th and 11th Avenues from East to West and 30th to 34th Streets from North to South.
